Restart Your Computer:

  • Make sure you save your work, then close all the open windows on your desktop.
  • For Windows 7 and Windows 10 - In the lower left corner of the screen, click the windows button, and then you see the power button there. After you click power button, you will see the three options there, you have to select restart option. Go to restart, and then click OK.

    · For Windows 10 and Windows 7 – In the lower left corner of the screen, click the Start button. Once the Start menu appears, click the arrow to the right of Shut down and select Restart.
  • Your computer will shut down and restart itself automatically.
  • Once your computer restarts, try to login in to your MSN email account again.
  • If you see the same error message on the MSN explorer, then reset the settings of Internet Explorer.

    To reset the Internet Explorer settings, follow the steps given below.

  • Open Internet Explorer by double-clicking on the Internet Explorer icon or search it from the windows icon menu. At the top of the window select Tools, then Internet Options. If the Tools menu is not visible, press the Alt key.
  • Clear Internet temporary files and cookies.
  • Go to the Security tab and click the Internet icon (it looks like a globe). Then click the Default level button if you can (sometimes this button is unavailable; this is normal).
  • Choose the Local Intranet icon, then click the Default level button if you can (sometimes this button is also unavailable; again, this is normal).
  • Select the Advanced tab and then click the Restore Defaults button (in Internet Explorer 7 and 8, this is named the Restore Advanced Settings button). Click OK when you are done. Now try to login to MSN explorer again.
